Keonjhar:  While the incident of sensational wedding gift blast in Patnagarh has still remained afresh among the people, another parcel packet triggered panic at Ghasipura Post office in the district in Odisha on Thursday.

Tension erupted at the Post office as the officials noticed smoke emitting from a parcel soon after it was received this morning.

The officials immediately placed the parcel at an abandoned place outside the Post office and alerted the police as well as local fire personnel in this regard.

Sources said the parcel has come from Delhi and supposed to be sent to another Post office at Deogaon for delivery.

Meanwhile, Ghasipura police has started investigation into the matter.
