Cuttack: A youth who would have got married in two days, was allegedly murdered here last night. His body was found in pool of blood near the Birupa Bridge this morning in the millennium city.
The deceased has been identified as Nirjhar Behera, a resident of Kapaleswar in Choudwar area of the city.
According to sources, Nirjhar left home in the evening yesterday after getting calls from his friends but didn’t return. As he didn’t get back home on time, the worried family members tried to contact him but failed to get any response from other side.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered in Choudwar Police Station in this connection and the body has been sent for autopsy.
