Odisha CM approves Rs 32.60 Cr for 114 GPs in 4 dists under Ama Gaon Ama Bikash

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday sanctioned Rs 32.60 crores for different rural projects to be carried out in 114 Gram Panchayats (GPs) of four districts.

Patnaik held video conferencing from the State Secretariat with the concerned representatives of the GPs and instantly approved the projects.

The Chief Minister instantly approved Rs 5.25 crore for 164 projects of 21 GPs under Bheden Block in Bargarh district and Rs 8.11 crore for execution of 398 projects in 34 GPs under Aul Block in Kendrapada district.

Likewise, Naveen sanctioned Rs 11.20 crore for 468 projects in 36 GPs under Remuna Block in Balasore district and Rs 8.04 crore for execution of 163 projects in 23 GPs under Danagadi Block in Jajpur district.

Notably, since the launching of the state government’s flagship programme ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikash’ on March 5 this year, Patnaik pursues regular review and interaction with the rural populace.

The elected representatives of the GPs and the villagers, during the ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikash’ programme, present the developmental schemes of their localities which the CM approves then and there.
