Odisha CM approves projects worth Rs 1.42 Cr for 4 Dists under Ama Gaon Ama Bikas

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday sanctioned Rs 1. 42 crores for 30 rural projects of four Gram Panchayats (GPs) in four districts under the flagship programme ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikas’.

Patnaik instantly approved Rs 35 lakh for seven projects for Rajas GP in Khurda district and Rs 35 lakh for execution of seven projects in Komna GP of Nuapada district.

Likewise, Iram GP in Bhadrak district was allotted Rs 35 lakh for undertaking seven projects and Rs 37 lakh for nine rural projects in Kujendri GP under Rayagada district.

Patnaik held video conferencing from the State Secretariat with the concerned GPs. He asked the respective Sarpanches to present the developmental schemes of their localities.

Chief Secretary AP Padhi, Development Commissioner R. Balakrishnan, Panchayati Raj Principal Secretary Deoranjan Singh and the concerned District Collectors were among others who were present during the ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikas’ programme.

Notably, Patnaik had launched flagship programme on March 5.
