Diwali, the festival of lights, is being celebrated across the state today. Thousands of devotees thronged Jagannath temple in Puri to offer prayer to Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra on the occasion.
In the capital city, people in large numbers were seen thronging to shops to buy candles, lamps, crackers and gifts for their near and dear ones last evening.
