As per the Beniapukur Police that raided one ‘All About Family Spa’ located in the posh Park Street area on allegation of running a brothel in the guise of the massage centre, Nabin was caught along with sex workers and was charged under Section 120 (B) of IPC.

However, Nabin has narrated a different story altogether to Kalinga TV and rubbished any connection with sex workers.

“I was out for shopping at around 7 PM on Saturday when got pickpocketed. As the miscreants snatched away my mobile phone and wallet, I chased them into the concerned spa and came in the clutches of the police team which mistook me for a customer,” said Nabin to Kalinga TV over phone.

Nabin’s son Sambit has also squashed all allegations against his father. He said his father failed to contact family members till Sunday after losing his mobile phone to the pickpockets.

“My father is in Hotel Auris after getting a bail in the case and would return back soon after settling all things in Kolkata,” informed Sambit.

Nabin who left for Kolkata on Thursday, remained in contact with his family till Friday. However, his family members failed to contact him over phone since Saturday evening. Sabmit who flew to Kolkata to search his father, later filed a missing case in a police station there in connection with the case.
