OdishaBhubaneswar: The State Government considers the labourers as very valuable assets for the nation building, said Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik while speaking at the 14th State level summit of ‘Hind Mazdoor Sabha’ here on Saturday.

“You are the real strength of our country. Your contribution and sacrifice towards nation building is incredible. It is my government’s responsibility to protect the rights and interests of the labourers,” said the Chief Minister while addressing thousands of labourers present on the occasion.

Patnaik also stated that the government is fully committed to ensure all kinds of security for every worker including workers in unorganised sector.

“Biju Babu had taken historic steps for the all-round development of the labourers; my government is also with the farmers and daily wage labourers from across the state. Special attention has been paid for the safety and security of women labourers,” the Chief Minister stated.
