Bhawanipatna: Tension ran high in Nagupada village under Jayapatna village today morning after dead body of a minor boy was found on road with multiple injury marks.
The deceased has been identified as the son of one Thunu Majhi of the village. He studied in 9th standard.
The victim who left his house at around 8 PM in the night to attend a training class in at a ‘record dance’ training centre located in the village did not return till late in the night. Worried over his missing the victim’s family member conducted a frantic search in the village and returned empty handed.
However, some locals spotted the missing minor’s body with injury marks all over the body today morning and called up his family members as well as Jayapatna Police.
Police seized the body reaching the spot later in the day and started investigation. They suspect it to be a case of murder from the circumstantial evidences.
