May FIFA World Cup-2018 be “Ball for Peace and Friendship”, wishes Sudarsan Pattnaik

Puri: While the FIFA World Cup-2018 mania has gripped the entire world with fans expressing their love and support for their favourite teams and players through different ways and means, internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a beautiful sand sculpture on sea beach here on Thursday.

Pattnaik, through his magnificent sand art, has wished that may the Football World Cup be a “Ball for Peace and Friendship.”

Hundreds of visitors, who went to the sea beach to cool themselves, were attracted towards the sand sculpture for its beauty and message of peace and friendship. Besides, they were seen clicking photos and selfies on the spot.

The 21st edition of the FIFA World Cup will begin in Moscow, Russia, this evening. In the opener, hosts Russia will play Saudi Arabia at the Luzhniki Stadium at 8.30 PM.

As many as 32 nations will play for the coveted football trophy in 16 stadiums in various cities in Russia.

The final match of the most popular games of the world will be played in Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow on July 15, 2018.
