Malkangiri: Maoists continue to terrorise people in Malkangiri district by killing yet another tribal on Tuesday night over suspicion of being police informer. The deceased has been identified as Sadhu Khemudu of Pipilipadar. Sadhu’s body with cut throat injury was recovered at a nearby forest this morning.
The red rebels also torched a JCB machine and three tractors engaged in road construction work at Nakamamudi Pipilipadar village in the cut off areas of Chitrakonda.
The members of the out-lawed group also put up posters at MPV-35 village in Kalimela of the district threatening the locals to stop working for police or else to face dire consequence in Praja Court. They also opposed police camp in the areas.
The Maoists further warned the village heads to refrain from collecting fine from the innocent villagers.The quacks have also been threatened to stop practicing sorcery.
