Bhubaneswar: The local Meteorological center issued thunderstorm alert for seven districts of the state on Monday.
The weather department issued thunderstorm alert for Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Puri, Cuttack, Keonjhar, Balasore and Khorda districts between 2.45 PM and 6.45 PM today.
People of these districts have been directed to take precautions during the adverse weather conditions and avoid going out as thunderstorm accompanied with gusty surface wind and lightning likely to occur in these districts.
