New Delhi: Odisha entered the semi-finals of girls’ football in the ongoing first Khelo India School Games in New Delhi on Sunday. They booked the semi-final spot after their comprehensive win against Mizoram by 7-2 goals.
Sushmita Tanti scored four goals while Rita Kisan, Tulsima Kerketa and Basanti Xess scored one each for the team.
Odisha had lost to Haryana (0-7) in its first match, but it defeated Gujarat (3-0) in its second match on Friday.
Apart from Odisha (with six points), Haryana is the other semi-finalist of Group-1. Haryana thrashed Gujarat to be in the semi-finals of the Khelo India School Games.
