Cuttack: Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik on Tuesday created a beautiful sand sculpture at Barabati Stadium to wish both Indian and Sri Lankan teams ahead of their T20 match slated to be played here tomorrow. The sand art has a good luck message with a ball and bat and national flags of both the countries.

The sand sculpture has now become a crowd puller with many people gathering to have a glimpse of it. Most of the visitors were even seen taking selfie.

This is Pattnaik’s first sand art at Barabati Stadium. He had earlier announced to create a sand sculpture and had visited the venue.

He had also created a sand sculpture at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar welcoming the cricket teams yesterday.

The match is slated to begin at 7 PM while the gates of the stadium will be opened from 4 PM for the entry of the spectators.
