ICC U-19 World Cup 2018: Sudarsan Congratulates ‘Boys in Blue’

Puri: Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik on Saturday congratulated the Indian players who created history by winning the Under-19 Cricket World Cup for the fourth time.

Pattnaik created a sand art at Puri beach to congratulate the ‘Boys in Blue’ who beat Australia by 8 wickets in New Zealand earlier today.


Chasing the victory target of 217, the Prithvi Shaw-led side made 220 in 38.5 overs for the loss of only two wickets. Manjot Kalra smashed his century here in the ICC U-19 World Cup 2018. He becomes the second player to score a ton in ICC U-19 World Cup final.

Kalra went on to smash his century as he and Harvik Desai took India to victory to clinch ICC U-19 World Cup.
