Goddess Saraswati comes alive in Sand Arts in Puri

Puri: International sand artist Manas Sahoo and students of renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created sand arts of Goddess Saraswati on the occasion of Basant Panchami on golden beach of the Pilgrim City on Monday. The goddess of learning and knowledge, came alive in sand sculptures created by them.

Manas Sahoo created the sand sculpture near the Light House. He used around 15 tonnes of sand to build the 15-feet wide sand sculpture.

“We have built this sand art seeking Goddess Saraswati’s blessing so that people all around attain knowledge, wisdom and and create peace all around the world,” said Sahoo while speaking to Kalinga TV.

Likewise, students of Sudarsan Sand Art School made a sand sculpture of the Hindu goddess on the Puri beach and wished the people a Happy Saraswati Puja.
