Gambling den busted in Odisha, 18 arrested

Aska: Police busted a gambling den near Karanjei Chowk under Aska police limits in Ganjam district and arrested 18 gamblers from the spot on Wednesday night.

After getting a tip-off on gambling activity, Aska police along with Hinjili police conducted a joint raid on the gambling den last night and arrested the accused. Besides, Rs 2.14 lakh, 20 mobile phones and 10 motorcycles were sized from the spot.

Sources at Aska police station said that the accused will be forwarded to court today.
