Four from Odisha picked-up for Hockey Women’s World Cup-2018

New Delhi: Four players from Odisha have been selected in the 18-member Indian Women’s Hockey Team for the upcoming Hockey Women’s World Cup-2018.

Deep Grace Ekka, Sunita Lakra, Namita Toppo and Lilima Minz are the four players who have been included in the team.

Ritu Rani will lead the team while Goalkeeper Savita will shoulder the responsibility of Vice Captain.

Indian has been placed in Pool-B of the Hockey World Cup which is slated to begin on July 21 in London,

Hosts and World No. 2 England, World No. 7 USA and World No. 16 Ireland are the other teams tabled in the Pool B.
