CRPF’s civic action programme to build relationship with public

Nuapada: In a bid to bridge the gap between villagers and security personnel, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a civic action programme in Sinapali block of the district on Tuesday.

The 216th battalion of CRPF organised the programme and distributed blankets, medicines, solar lights and various other essential commodities to the villagers. The security personnel also gave different sports equipment to the children and youth during the programme.

While speaking to Kalinga TV about the objective of such civic action programme, one of the CRPF officials said that the aim of the programme was to inculcate a sense of security by developing cordial relations and harnessing co-operation with villagers living in rural areas.
