Angul: A special team of Angul Police probing the mystery killing of a Gambharimalia couple last night has recovered the dead body of their 10-year-old missing son.
Identified as Naba Nayak, the minor boy was found with his throat slit on the foothills of Birimundi in the district.
Earlier in the day, Angul SP Brajesh Kumar Rai had assured that the missing son of the couple would be traced soon. Significantly, the assailants had also slit the throats of the boy’s parents.
The couple had been killed at around 2 am on Monday night by some unidentified miscreants who threw their bodies 75 kms apart. While the wife’s body was found at her home in Gambharimulia village, her husband’s body was found dead at Guriamunda bridge near Pokanda village raising several questions.
