Congress Activists Pelt Eggs At Police while protesting over Kunduli Case

Bhubaneswar: Congress activists pelted eggs at police personnel while protesting over Kunduli Case here on Thursday.

According to reports, police waylaid the Congress activists when they tried to break the police cordon at Sishu Bhawan Chhak on their way to gherao Naveen Niwas. Angry over which they entered into a scuffle with the cops and pelted eggs at them.

They alleged that injustice has been done to the Kunduli victim who was allegedly gang raped by four persons in uniform leading to her suicide.

Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Prasad Harichandan, AICC Associate Odisha-in-charge Suvankar Sarkar and former MP Pradeep Majhi led the protest rally.
