Bhubaneswar: The much awaited Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Setu (bridge), commonly known as Trisulia bridge, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday. The Rs 108-crore project, connecting Trisulia and CDA in Cuttack is set to reduce the distance between twin cities Bhubaneswar and Cuttack by almost 12 kms.
The foundation stone for the 2.88 km long bridge, the longest bridge in Odisha, was laid in February 2011. MPs and MLAs from the twin cities were present at the inauguration. The bridge is the first three-lane bridge in Odisha.
