Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is reviewing the party’s stand in Sambalpur and Sonepur districts with the newly elected Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) representatives of the districts.
According to reports, Patnaik who met the Zilla Parishad Members, Samiti Members, Sarpanch and Ward Members of Sonepur district at the party headquarter office in Bhubaneswar. He will also meet the grass root leaders of Sambalpur district.
The BJD did very poor in both these districts in the recently concluded panchayat polls.
In view of the Panchayat election results, the BJD supremo is meeting the PRI representatives of all districts to strengthen the party’s base at the booth level.
