New Delhi: The Class XII re-examination for the economics paper will be held on April 25, 2018 across the country but a decision on the re-examination for the Class X Mathematics paper will be taken later, Union Education Secretary Anil Swarup announced here on Friday.
“Regarding Class X re-examination, as leak was restricted to Delhi and Haryana, if it at all a re-exam will happen, it will happen only in Delhi and Haryana and a decision will be taken on this in next 15 days. If at all a re-exam is done, it will be in July,” Swarup said while briefing media persons.
Notably, a hand-written question paper of the Class 12 Economics examination had allegedly been circulating on WhatsApp a day before the examination. Many questions in this leaked paper were the same that appeared in the actual examination, sources said.
