BSF Jawans display humanity again, admit injured man to hospital in Chitrakonda cut-off area

Malkangiri: The Border Security Force (BSF) Jawans displayed courage and humanity yet again in the Maoist hit district by helping an injured man to get admitted in hospital in the cut-off area of Chitrakonda this morning.

One Dinu Hantal of Palankrai village was critically injured after his co-villager Masuri Khara did a murderous attempt by attacking him with an axe. Khara had attacked Hantal on his back over some family dispute.

Hantal’s relatives carried him in a boat meant for fishing to the Janbai Ghat where the BSF Jawan have been stationed. After learning about Hantal, the Jawan carried him to the Chitrakonda hospital in their ambulance.

On being informed about the incident, Chitrakonda police reached the hospital and registered a case and began a probe.

The humanitarian work of the BSF jawans has been highly appreciated by the people who also expressed their gratitude to the security personnel for their noble deeds.

Notably, the BSF Jawans had earlier on February 8 helped a pregnant woman to reach hospital in the same area.
