Bhubaneswar: The re-collapse of Bomikhal flyover last night which killed one labourer and left another critical has created a ripple in the political sphere in the state with leaders across the party lines pouring their hearts out over the reoccurrence of the mishap.
Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan took to his twitter handle and reacted on the incident soon after the mishap last night and expressed his grief to the bereaved family of the deceased labourer. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରରେ ନିର୍ମାଣାଧୀନ ବମିଖାଲ ଓଭରବ୍ରିଜ୍ରେ ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣା ଘଟି ଶ୍ରମିକଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଥିବା ଖବର ଶୁଣି ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଭୁଶୁଡି ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ମୂର୍ତ୍ୟୁ ଘଟିଥିଲା। ଆଜିର ଘଟଣା ଦୁଃଖଦାୟକ। ମୃତକଙ୍କ ପରିବାରକୁ ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଇବା ସହ ଆହତଙ୍କ ଆଶୁ ଆରୋଗ୍ୟ କାମନା କରୁଛି ।

Similarly, the Leader of the Opposition in Odisha Assembly (LoP) Narasingha Mishra took a pot-shot at the Naveen Patnaik led government at the state in the issue. Reacting sharply in the flyover collapse case on his twitter handle Mishra claimed that the inefficiency of the state government as well as its involvement in rampant corruption is responsible for such malaise.

Suspended BJD MP Baijayant Panda also came down heavily on the government over the reoccurrence of bridge collapse in the city on his official microblogging account claimed that people need answer on the issue.
