Puri: The Odisha unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday lodged police complaints at all the police stations of the state over the missing Ratna Bhandar keys of Jagannath Temple.

The saffron party leaders and activists demonstrated in front of different police stations across the state and filed FIRs seeking action against the persons involved in missing keys of Ratna Bhandar (treasury).

Claiming that the key missing incident has hurt the sentiments of crores of devotees of Lord Jagannath, they sought for a CBI probe into the incident.

Notably, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has appointed Justice Raghubir Dash, a retired Orissa High Court judge, to inquire into the circumstances leading to non-availability of the keys of the 12th Century shrine in Puri.
