New Delhi: A group of 50 women motorbike riders from Gujarat – the Biking Queens – called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Monday.
The group says they have driven over 10,000 km, covering 13 States/Union territories, and interacted with people on social themes, such as Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao; and Swachh Bharat.
As part of their ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ awareness campaign, ‘Biking Queens’ have already visited various states, including Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, to name a few.
The young motorbike riders also unfurled the tricolour at Khardungla in Ladakh on August 15 this year.
The Prime Minister appreciated their efforts and wished them the best for their future endeavour.
