Bhubaneswar: All political parties along with the general public in the state are waiting anxiously for the results of the much hyped by-poll for Bijepur Assembly seat in Bargarh district which will be out tomorrow.

The counting of votes will begin from 8 AM as per the schedule and the trend will be out by noon.

Meanwhile, the district administration has made all necessary arrangements for the counting.  A total of 14 tables have been kept in place for counting of votes.

Sources said that 21 rounds of count likely to be conducted.

CRPF personnel have been deployed for the safeguard of the EVM machines which are kept under the strict vigil in Padampur College.

Though as many as 13 candidates were in fray for the assembly seat, the high voltage fight is primarily being seen as a triangular fight between state ruling BJD’s Rita Sahu, BJP’s Ashok Panigrahi and Congress’s Pranay Sahu.

On the other hand, the three major political parties are busy speculating their chances of grabbing the seat. While the BJD and Congress are confidently voicing out the margins of votes by which they will win, BJP is in no doubt that it will get the final win.

The by-poll was necessitated following the death of Congress MLA Subal Sahu in August last year.
