India-Sri Lanka Barabati T20: Ticket price begins from Rs 400 Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), in a preparatory meeting here on Saturday, fixed the prices of tickets for the upcoming first T20 international match of the Paytm Series between India and Sri Lanka to be played at the historic Barabati Stadium on December 20.

According to reports, there are different types of ticket with their price variations. While the cheapest ticket will cost Rs 400, the costliest one will be available for Rs 8,000.

A spectator has to pay Rs 600 for gallery no 1 and 3, Rs 500 for gallery no 2 and 4, Rs 400 for gallery no 6 and 7,  while the prices for special enclosure have been fixed at Rs 3,000 and Rs 8,000 for corporate box tickets.

Some tickets of different denominations will be sold online by Interactive Technology Pvt Ltd through their website kyazoonga.com. Redemption of E-tickets will happen at Cambridge School, near Barabati Stadium.  However, the dates for the online ticket sale will be announced soon.

The counter sale of tickets for the match will be carried out on December 16 and 17 between 9 AM and 5 PM. One person will be allowed to purchase two tickets only .

Spectators can purchase tickets through bank drafts, debit cards and in cash. However, the cash transactions have been limited to Rs 2,000 per spectator.

The OCA officials informed that the entire ticketing of the match has been entrusted to Mumbai based company Interactive Technologies Pvt Ltd. For the safety purpose, they will be printing tickets outside the state with inclusion of Holograms, bar code and other security features. The company will provide adequate number of tickets validator for outer fate and “May I Help You”, manpower for ushering spectators at inner gate and supervisors to oversee the management. The match has been insured for Rs 21.71 crore.

Official sources said, some changes in the preparations for the key international T20 match have been made in order to beef up security and maintain law and order during the game.

The OCA authorities also said that the seats of various stands including the galleries will be numbered. The players, match officials and other key persons will be accommodated at Hotel Mayfair Lagoon in Bhubaneswar.

Barabati MLA Debasis Samantray, Police Commissioner YB Khurania, Bhubaneswar DCP Satyabrata Bhoi and OCA Chairman Dhiren Pallai were among others present during the preparatory meeting.
