Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved 21 projects worth Rs 1.33 crore for four panchayats in Gajapati, Khordha, Kalahandi and Cuttack districts on Friday.
Patnaik approved the projects under Ama Gaon, Ama Bikash (Our Village, Our Development) programme via video conferencing after holding discussions with Sarpanchas of four panchayats which includes Badagosani (7 projects) of Gajapati, Palatotapada (7 projects) of Khordha, Lanjigarh (7 projects) of Kalahandi and Jasapada (6 projects) of Cuttack. During the dialogue, the CM sought cooperation from the public to implement such projects effectively and directed officials to expedite efforts in this direction.
Among others Chief Secretary, Development Commissioner, Principal Secretary of Panchayatiraj Department and Collectors of all four districts were present during the programme.
