Chinnamma Sasikala and her nephew TTV Dinakaran as well as all of their family members have been ousted from AIADMK, paving the way for merger of EPS and OPS camps. The decision was taken by the AIADMK leaders tonight.
A committee will run the AIADMK as of now till the leadership issue is sorted out. It’s quite obvious the game will continue for long and it won’t be easy to unite the warring factions under a common leader. Efforts may be made for a neutral leader other than OPS and EPS.
Tamil Nadu Minister D Jayakumar made it clear that the resolution to keep Sasikala and her family members away from AIADMK and government, has bee unanimous. Sasikala is currently lodged in Bengaluru jail on graft charges.
