Bhadrak, Apr 10: As many as 73 people have been arrested in connection with the violent and arson that took place in the town over the last few days.
It was confirmed by Eastern Range IG Ghanshyam Upadhyay at a press meet today. Eight FIRs have been filed and several weapons were seized from the arrested people. In addition, eight bikes and several looted materials were also recovered.
Although situation remains under control in Bhadrak, curfew has been re-imposed in the town from 2 pm today to 7 am tomorrow to prevent any untoward incident.
