Bhubaneswar: The local Meteorological (MeT) centre predicted heavy rainfall at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada and Gajapati in the next 24 hours.
The weatherman also forecasted possible occurrences of thunderstorm accompanied with gusty surface wind and lightning at one or two places of over the districts of Keonjha, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Puri and Khurda during next 24 hours.
People of the districts are advised to stay indoors or take shelter at safe places during the period.
