Bhubaneswar: Angry and upset over the delay in change in PCC leadership in Odisha, 3 Congress MLAs – Taraprasad Bahinipati, Prafulla Majhi and Jogesh Singh have decided to visit Delhi on June 16-17 to meet Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi to press their demands.
However, their Delhi visit won’t be able to bear any fruit, as Rahul Gandhi tweeted that he is visiting his 93-year-old grandmother and other relatives in Italy and will spend some time with them.
MLA Jogesh Singh tried to put up a volt face, saying they would try to meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi if Rahul is not available. As the central leadership is yet to take a call on PCC President, many Congress MLAs as well as leaders and cadres are getting restless, while the BJP keeps poaching on them on a regular basis.
