Sambalpur: Security forces on Thursday arrested 3 hardcore Naxals during a search operation in Kisinda area of Sambalpur district in Odisha.
The arrested leftist extremists have been identified as Ajay Dehuri, Shankar Majhi and Samarjeet Hembram.
A joint team of Kisinda police and District Voluntary Force (DVF) was out on a search operation in Dangarketa reserve forest when it nabbed 3 rebels, said Kisinda IIC Basant Kumar Dalai.
The security personnel also seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition during the search operation that included two 303 rifles, one hand grenade, two tiffin bombs, 392 rounds of cartridges and 100 grenades.
