2 college students suspended after their sex video goes viral in Odisha; Accused still at large

Nayagarh: Authorities of a college in the Kontilo area of the district suspended two students on Friday after their sex video which went viral on social media came to their notice.

The college authorities rusticated a Plus II first year girl and Plus III second year boy after an objectionable video featuring the two made rounds on social media.

Sources said that students were in relationship. However, the boy filmed their intimate moments on his phone and uploaded it on social media following which it went viral.

Sources said that the video was shot at the Gokulananda Tourism Centre in Sidhamula village of the district on February 17.

Leveling rape allegation against the boy, a native of Sidhamula village, the girl’s parents have lodged a police complaint with the Khandapada police on Thursday.

Khandapada IIC Bimal Mallick informed that statement of the girl and her parents have been recorded and efforts are on to nab the boy who is still at large.
