12 more Cobras rescued from house in Bhadrak

Bhadrak: A day after over hundreds of cobra snakes were rescued from a house in the district, snake helpline officials on Monday rescued as many as 12 monocled cobras from a house at Kantabania village under Dhamnagar Notified Area Council (NAC) in the district in Odisha, triggering panic among residents of the area.

Sources said, the snakes were rescued from the house of one Gouranga Jena in the village this morning. His son spotted the cobras inside the house and immediately alerted the snake helpline officials.

On June 23, as many as 106 cobras were rescued from the house of one Bijay Bhuyan at Paika Sahi in Shyampur village under Dhamnagar police station limits in the district. A day after, three more cobras were rescued from the same house in the district.
