Keonjhar: At least 10 persons were injured and three among them turned critical after a passenger bus overturned at Katulikana Square under Champua police limits in the district today.
The mishap took place minutes after the bus Tapaswini (Registration No. OD 09 B 0533) started its journey from Turumunga to Champua this morning. It is being suspected that the driver of the bus lost control over the wheels and veered off near the Katulikana Square turning, causing the vehicle to overturn.
All 10 passengers who were hurt in the accident were immediately rushed to the Champua CHC by some locals and three of them are under serious conditions, informed medical authorities.
Champua Police have reached the spot and seized the bus following the accident.
