Mumbai: Lovebirds Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas on Friday went for a dinner date with their respective families at Mumbai’s JW Marriot Hotel. The outing comes ahead of a reported engagement celebration, as Nick Jonas had reached India along with his parents to meet Priyanka’s family.

Sporting a grey and white chequered dress, Priyanka was seen walking hand-in-hand with Nick at Mumbai’s JW Marriott for their supposed pre-engagement dinner. Dressed in Blue dress shirt and grey trousers, Jonas was all eyes for PeeCee and shutterbugs had a field day clicking the duo. Nick’s parents Kevin Jonas Sr and Denise Jonas were also present at the dinner.

What further piqued the media’s curiosity at the dinner was Priyanka’s engagement ring with a square-shaped diamond, which the actress was seen sporting in her finger.

Notably, Nick Jonas had earlier come to India to meet Priyanka’s family in June but this is the first time his parents are visiting the country. It is being alleged that Nick’s parents have come to India to meet Priyanka’s family and celebrate their engagement. The couple is really excited for everyone to meet and celebrate. Priyanka and Nick had exchanged rings in London last month after a courtship period of two months.

Insiders have revealed that the couple will have a traditional engagement ceremony at PeeCee’s Mumbai home followed by a private ceremony later. Both the stars have refrained from commenting about their engagement and have been keeping things under wraps.

On the work front, Priyanka has an interesting line-up of Hollywood flicks like Baywatch, A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t It Romantic. Her next Bollywood release will be Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’. PeeCee has already started shooting for the film in which she stars alongside Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
