Mumbai: Actress Janhvi Kapoor on Monday shared an adorable throwback picture in the memory of her mother, the late superstar Sridevi on her 55th birth anniversary. In the picture shared by her on Instagram, Sridevi is seen holding little Janhvi in her arms and Boney Kapoor standing protectively behind her. The post was shared by Janhvi in the memory of her mother who passed away on February 26 this year. The actress was 54 at that time.
Last year, Sridevi had thrown a grand party to celebrate her 54th birthday. The party had in attendance some of her closest friends in the industry- Rekha, Manish Malhotra. Karan Johar, Tina Ambani, Shabana Azmi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vidya Balan. However, nobody had the slightest of idea that this would be the diva’s last birthday celebration.
Sridevi’s untimely and tragic demise had sent shockwaves to millions of her fans and stunned the entire film fraternity. When the news of her death surfaced, it took a while for millions of her fans to digest the fact that their beloved icon has left for her heavenly abode, all too early.
