Deepika Padukone’s Wax Statue To Be Unveiled At Madame Tussauds in London

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone is one helluva girl. After winning accolades for her acting chops and impeccable sense of fashion, the Bollywood diva is all set to add another feather to her already colourful hat.
Deepika is all set to become one of those privileged fews whose life size wax statue will be unveiled at the Madame Tussauds Museum in London. If reports are to be believed, Deepika’s wax figure will be placed alongside statues of global A-listers such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Hellen Mirren, among others.
Apparently, she will be the first Bollywood star whose life-size figurine will make it to that special section, as statues of other Hindi film stars have been kept in a separate Bollywood enclosure.
Sharing her heartfelt joy Deepika stated that it is indeed a big achievement for her and she is only too excited to be a part of the Madame Tussauds legacy.
Touted as one of the top female actors in Bollywood, Deepika Padukone’s last release was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavat which became one of the highest grossing Bollywood films of all times. In the movie, she played the role of the legendary Rajput queen Rani Padmini which was appreciated by critics and masses alike.
Allegedly dating actor Ranveer Singh, Deepika endorses several top-notch products including Lux, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Levis, BSNL and Lo’real Paris.
Daughter of ace Badminton Player Prakash Padukone, Deepika is the recipient of several awards, including three Filmfare awards. She features in listings of the nation’s most popular personalities, and Time named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018.
Alongside her acting career, the Padmavat actor participates in stage shows, writes columns for leading Indian dailies and is vocal about issues such as feminism and depression. She has designed her own line of clothing for women and is the founder of The ‘Live Love Laugh’ Foundation, which creates awareness on mental health in India.
