Big Boss 12 To Kickstart From September 16

Mumbai: The 12th season of the popular reality TV show ‘Big Boss’ is all set to start from September 16. The show would be hosted by Salman Khan who has been associated with the show as a presenter since the fourth season, which premiered in 2010. As usual, the show will be aired at 10:30 pm on weekdays and at 9 pm on weekends.
According to reports, Salman Khan will shoot the first promo for Big Boss 12 early next month. The superstar, who is prepping up for his next titled ‘Bharat’, will simultaneously shoot for the television show. Big Boss 12 would reportedly end by December 2018.
The makers of the show have revealed that the contestants this year would come in pairs which would include parents, siblings, co-workers and even friends. The show would feature both celebrities and commoners as contestants. To select commoners for the show, the makers have organised auditions across major cities of India.
As per rumours, estranged siblings Shafaq and Falak Naaz, couples Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim, Siddharth Sagar and Subuhi Joshi, Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar and mother-son duo Vibha and Puru Chibber may be a part of Bigg Boss 12.
The television reality show which was launched in 2006, would be broadcast on Colors channel. It follows the Big Brother format, which was first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands. Over eleven years, Bigg Boss has rolled out eleven seasons which garnered eyeballs for controversies, fights and scandals.
