Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is celebrating his 50th birthday today. The ‘Khiladi’ of B-Town has just won a lot of praise and accolades for his latest release Toilet- Ek Prem Katha with Bhumi Pednekar and is now all set to come up with another flick with a social message Gold.
On his special day, the versatile actor has unveiled the poster of his upcoming film Gold on social media.

In a career spanning more than 25 years, Kumar has appeared in over a hundred Hindi films and has won several awards, including the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Rustom, and two Filmfare Awards.
Apart from acting, Akshay is lnown for his philanthropic activities. He had donated a sum of Rs 90 lakh to drought hit farmers in Maharashtra in 2015. The actor also played a crucial role in the opening of a web portal called ‘BharatKeVeer’ , where people can donate up to Rs 15 lakh to the family of a martyred jawan or officer of CAPFs.
