Bhubaneswar: The audition of popular dance reality show Dance India Dance (DID) Season-6 to be aired on Zee Television was held at KIIT University’s Campus-14 here on Sunday.
As many as 362 candidates in the age group of 14 to 35 years from all over Odisha and 143 participants from outside the state participated in the audition. Ten participants were put in each group from among whom one was selected by the judges.
Choreographers Geeta and Bidyadhar from Odisha and Ananya, Salman and Saroj from Mumbai were the judges who selected the candidates in various rounds of the audition.
Selecting the potential candidates in two rounds, the judges elevated them to the semifinals.
Auditions for the popular dance reality show will be held in 15 cities of the state between 8th September 2017 and 1st October, 2017.
The mega dance reality show is set to go on air in October or November 2017.
