Dr. Samanta inaugurates Bakery and Curd Making Unit in KISSBhubaneswar: Dr. Achyuta Samanta, founder of KIIT and KISS, inaugurated the Bakery and Curd making units at KISS campus on the eve of Ganesh Chathurthi here on Friday.

Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) has always given importance to quality education along with balanced diet to its students.

Students of KISS are provided with proteinous food and tiffin. The students will now be provided bread and curd too. Different types of bread and biscuits will be prepared in the bakery.

Students of the largest tribal residential school of the world are provided with various types of tiffin every day morning and evening. The students are provided biscuits for two days and breads for two days. They are also provided puffed rice and mixture which is prepared in its own unit. The students are provided flattened rice with curd and puffed rice with mixture for breakfast and in evening tiffin as per routine.

This apart, KISS authorities also provide vegetables curry besides egg, chicken, fish and soyabena curry on various days of a week.

Founder Dr. Samant also buys huge quantities of seasonal fruits like orange, apples and guava from various places of the country for the 27,000 students due to which KISSians stay healthy and pursue their studies happily.
