Plus Two Chemistry exam today

Bhubaneswar, Mar 30: The Plus Two Chemistry exam that was postponed after the March 14 question paper fiasco will be conducted across the state on Thursday.

Sources said, more than one lakh examinees are likely to appear the examination in more than 1100 centres.

The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will conduct the examination from 2 pm till 5 pm.

Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on March 16 but, the CHSE scrapped the exam and rescheduled it to March 30 as Chemistry question papers were found inside Mathematics question packets in at least 14 examination centres.

Following the incident, School and Mass Education Department Minister Debi Mishra had directed the Controller of examinations of CHSE to probe into the irregularities and submit a report within two weeks.

The Minister had also asked the Controller of examinations to visit the press where the question papers were printed and packed.
