Claiming that “fake descendant” of freedom fighter Chakara Bisoyee was felicitated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the felicitation ceremony in Bhubaneswar, Ghumusar Adivasi Sangha on Monday protested in front of the office of Sub-Collector at Bhanjanagar.
Similarly, locals also protested at Chakara Bisoyee’s native Binjhagiri village. They alleged that none of the relatives of the freedom fighter are alive now and the memorial gift was given to fake descendant – Netaji Bisoyee. They demanded that the citation should be taken back from Netaji and given to the freedom fighter’s village.
They also said that they would write to the PMO and Union Minister Dharmandra Pradhan in this regard.
