New Delhi: Xiaomi will be launching the new Mi MIX 2 smartphone in India on October 10, 2017, the company’s Managing Director (MD) in India Manu Kumar Jain announced on Thursday.
Xiaomi launched Mi MIX 2 with three variants in China last month. It was priced in China at CNY 3,299 (around Rs. 32,300) for its 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant, CNY 3,599 (around Rs. 35,300) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant, and CNY 3,999 (around Rs. 39,200) for the 6GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant.
The last time Xiaomi launched a flagship phone in India was last year with the Mi 5.

Mi Mix 2 features a 12-megapixel camera in the rear carrying a Sony IMX382 sensor having larger pixel size of 1.25um and 4-axis image stabilisation. On the front, the phone has a 5-megapixel shooter, but it is placed at the bottom and the phone needs to be rotated while taking a selfie. The new smartphone is based on Snapdragon 835 chip with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage
The bezel-less phone will become the latest in a series of bezel-less smartphones in India, joining the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and Note 8, LG Q6, and Vivo V7+; iPhone X and Google Pixel 2 XL will join the list in November.
