Pakistan arrests two Indians during census exercise

Karachi, Mar 31: Pakistan police during the 6th population and housing census arrested two Indians for living illegally in Karachi.

The Express Tribune quoted Sindh Census Commissioner Abdul Aleem Memon as saying that the two Indians had no legal documents and have been handed over to law-enforcement agencies.

Pakistan government is conducting the sixth housing and population census in the country after a hiatus of 19 years. The neighbouring country last conducted a census in 1998 and had recorded a national population of approximately 180 million.
