Odisha Culture Department observes World Heritage Day

The Culture Department of the Odisha government observed the World Heritage Day on Tuesday in Bhubaneswar.

On this occasion, a rally with an aim to raise awareness among the people for protection of various cultural and heritage sites in the state, was organized.

Hundreds of students from different schools and colleges along with Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Panda and Bhubaneswar MLA (North) Priyadarshi Mishra took part in the rally from the Rajarani Temple to Bindusagar.

Different cultural events like Sambalpuri dance and Ghoda Nacha (Horse dance) were also held during the rally.

Renowned sand artist Manas Sahoo created a sand sculpture with the theme ‘Save Cultural Wonders of the World’ on Puri beach on this occasion.
